OUR MINISTRIES

Children's Ministry	Children's Church—On Sundays, dedicated teachers minister to children ages 5-12 during the service as well as a nursery cares for infants and children up to age 5. Operation Christmas Child—This ministry brings joy and hope to children in desperate situations around the world through gift-filled shoe boxes and the Good News of God’s love. Good News Club—We minister to elementary age children in a local school after regular classes.
Youth	Christian Youth Center of Morris—The Directors of CYCM are Nick and Amy Marcoux. The location of the ministry is on Illinois Ave in Morris. They meet on Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. for games and teaching, as well as Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. for worship and small groups. Peaceful Pastures—A horse-riding and -tending ministry for children and young adults who are mentally and/or physically challenged — meets in Coal City.
Adult Ministry	Men's — breakfast, 1st & 3rd Saturdays of each month, 8:00 am, at Cara & Dave Hazeltine's apartment (just above the church). Women's — Mondays, 7:00 p.m., at the Vienne's home in Mazon Marriage Ministry — Married couples' small group meeting at Bev & Bob Startzer's home on two Mondays a month at 7:30 pm. Marriage counseling is also available at request.
Spirit & Word School of Ministry	Earn a Diploma/Certificate through the Oral Roberts University Bible Institute Program at MFHOP. Classes meet at the church. Students may audit any class for a reduced fee. Call 942-0800 for more info.
World Missions	We support several ministries locally and around the world, including ministry to Native Americans in South Dakota and in the nations of Guatemala, Mexico, Thailand, Uganda, Kenya, Bulgaria, and the Philippines. We are active in sending people on short-term mission trips to most of these nations. Hispanic Ministry—We provide small group, Spanish-speaking Bible studies to our community, and have two members who are able to minister fluently in Spanish.
Pro-Life	Pregnancy Resource Center of Will County— located in Joliet, Illinois. We support the center, participate in the annual Life Chain, and stand for the pre-born at abortion clinics.
Prayer Ministry	Prayer Chain—urgent prayer needs are given to our prayer warriors via e-mail and telephone Intercession— Sunday morning prayer intercession, 8:15 am and Wednesday night, 7:00 pm. We pray for personal, community, national, and global needs and requests.
Praise & Worship Ministry	Praise & Worship Team—leading the church into the presence of God on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings
Homeless Ministry	Grundy Area P.A.D.S.— housing and feeding the homeless every Saturday night during the winter months—from the middle of October to the middle of April.
Social Issues	Political Truth—We are active in promoting the principles of God's Kingdom in our state and national governments. Jail & Prison Ministry— Personal ministry to the women in the Grundy County Jail. Plus, correspondence and visitation ministry to prison inmates and released inmates.
